Go into Settings, Manage Apps, and delete all your cache and app data. That should do it.

Most current model is the CMP738A but looks like that's be replaced by CMP738B which will have Android OS 2.2 with Flash. I've contacted Craig Electronics Corp and was told that they had plans to release update to current CMP738A owners with Android OS 2.2 but not set date yet.

December 2010 is the last build date code. It's not on the box only on the device itself on the back of the case.

There is over 10 new models coming out.

http://code.google.com/p/cmp738a/dow....2.7z&can=2&q=

first install both and move to an easy to get to place. you also need software to unzip them:
go to 7-zip.org to install the software and use it to extract both files.

now go into the unzipped RKUtils folder, then RKAndroidBatchUpgrade, then click the application RKAndroidBatchUpgrade

once you open the program look at the setting area and click the dotted box and find the cmp file that you downloaded, it should be an .img file
click on that and click upgrade at the bottom of the RK upgrader and it should do the rest for you. that file that you found also has the driver software needed to recognize the file for different windows versions.

Hope that helps
It says "no device existed",what to do now?

Did you go into Recovery mode? Don't forget to press Home + Power when you plug it in. That should let RKAndroidBatchUpgrade see the device. It won't see it otherwise.

Try rebooting the Craig and see if that helps. I'm not really familiar with that problem. You might also want to ask on SlateDroid.

dont give up on it. just keep trying and make sure you are following the instructions exactly, if you downloaded all the files i talked about it should work fine. just try again and make sure you install the right driver software for your computer's OS, if it doesnt work try all the other versions until one works

I am not having any problem installing the .img files, but I have a kindle account and every time I go to download a bought book to my Craig the device asks me to remove the book and try to download again. I don't receive an error message. Does anyone else have a similar issue?

I did the rooting per instructions and everything appears to work fine except one thing. Removing the icons on the main desktop does not work. No trash can appears when removal is attempted. The removal of any that I have added will proceed correctly. ANy ideas?
