Any of Tuff-Luv's are great. Lifetime warranty (which the honor). I got the multiview in leather, great to be able to to read while eating or putting it on the tray while flying. You can also clip a reading light on the cover.

Well, I've looked at lots and lots of pictures today...including the recs above for Bundle Monster and Tuff-Luv. My preference is for book style vs flip and while I still love Oberon covers, I just can't bring myself to pay that much.
At the moment I think I'm torn between JAVOedge - either the Tweed or Heritage and M-Edge Go!. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004EM8JBM/ http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00481T1HA/ http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0042AM7HI/ There's a coupon code of 15% off Javoedge or of course M-Edge currently has a sale for 2 covers for $30. |

I really like the MEDGE Executive Jacket cases I saw on slickdeals yesterday for $10. I almost grabbed one but I got a lighted cover and don't need anymore. They looked really nice. The Deal is over now though but they retail at $30.

M-Edge Go
![]() I purchased one with my kso and I love it. Just the right size , folds back easily, and it has a slide in pocket if I want to attach their light. Seems to be of very good build so far. Almost too thin to use nekkid , the cover adds a nice little heft to the kindle in day to day use. |

So, I've ordered something but I don't know what! :>
I've ordered the $30 Mystery Box from M-Edge. https://app.medgestore.com/products/...device=kindle3 I used code BTSMEDGE for 25% off which allowed me to upgrade shipping from the free 6-11 day SmartPost to 3-5 day Fedex and still stay under $30. I'm hoping that one of the 2 included jackets is one of: Go, Trip, Executive, but we will see! Also, for anyone interested, M-Edge is having a sale right now on K3 cases. Buy 2 jackets for $30 Buy 3 jackets for $39 Buy 4 jackets for $48 Buy 5 jackets for $55 (and no, you cannot use the code above with these) Last edited by texasnightowl; 10-04-2011 at 03:35 PM. |

Hi everyone! Great thread!
I noticed that the original covers by Amazon manage to hold the Kindle in place without any strap around it. They just use little hooks that connect to the side of the Kindle. Anyone knows of third party covers that do the same thing? I really don't like the ones with straps on top of the Kindle. PS: have a 3 wifi, non-DX Ciao & thanks! |

Novere uses the hinge system. There might be a few others but it is not all that common.

Thanks ProfCrash! The Novere covers are nicer and less bulky than the Amazon ones! :-)
A little cheaper would be perfect :-) I'll leak it to my family, so that they can leak it to my friends for my birthday :-) |

The Noreve is my favorite cover ever. It doesn't use the hinge system, it has a rail system where the Kindle slides in. I love it because no part of my skin is obstructed while in the cover, and it's so sleek and light. Folds back completely flat which is a big selling point for me.

I think Amazon might have the only hinge based covers. Others are probably like Noreve and had a modified system that work with the hinges.

I want to know if the lighted cover is any better on battery life than the current K3 lighted cover.

I was looking at Noreve and the rail system looks nice, but does the easel on the back stay out of the way? I've never used an easel/stand...my K1 was always in my hand with the front cover folder under. Does that easel add much bulk?

Does anyone know if there is anything similar to this for the kindle 4 NT w/ SO?
![]() I have a little mini pen and small notebook and would like to be able to carry them with the Kindle along with a few important cards. I'm trying to cut down on the number of things to carry to class everyday. |
