so i got my kindle and the amazon lighted cover, and i was putting the kindle through the hooks. it seems okay, but the top hook seems to come a little loose whenever i move the kindle. i have to push it a little in to make the light work. should i rehook it again or is this normal?

You shouldn't see any of the gold plated hooks visible when properly installed. The top hook is spring loaded. Attach the bottom hook first with the K3 at about a 45 degree angle out. Then rotate the K3 in towards the top hook as you slide the hook back so the K3 snaps in place.
Hope that makes sense. If you see any gold plating, it's normally the bottom hook. Which also tells me you don't have it properly installed. No gold should be visible when properly installed. There are Youtube videos which show the procedure if you find the above too confusing. |

@speed: none of the golden hooks are showing. the top just seems a bit loose, but it doesn't show me any part of the golden hook. maybe i'm just being too sensitive
![]() @PG: Oh okay! glad it seems to be normal ![]() |

My Oberon cover finally came in. I'll take some photos later on this evening. Holy crap this is a great company. Expensive but worth it.

I have the Incipio Sport Zip Case and it's working very well. I like to read with a naked kindle, then I slip it into a cotton sleeve I bought from Etsy that is resting inside the Incipio case with the power cord and zip up the top of the case when I'm going out. The case fits perfectly into the main compartment of the Piazza Day Bag from eBags.

hehehe they do make a wonderful product. I bought a K3 so I could buy a sleeve.
I mean, I need a K3 for travel and it allowed me to buy a sleeve. Which should be arriving today. |

I also went the MyEdge route of designing my own covers and got those:

Nice cover. I like the design your own cover concept. It is pretty cool.
Here are my three covers. |

It must be nice to have all that money and/or you obviously work hard for yours. Because I live in Canada and had to ship mine from California it cost me $90 with everything included for my Oberon cover. I'd like another one for some variety but I'm content with the one I have.

I have three different Kindles, each with their own cover. My Husband and I are both fortunate to be employed. Right now we only have ourselves to care for so we can splurge occassionally.
