@scoopaz
The OPDS- feed in 0.9.0 is working flawlessly for me. - Server = Raspberry Pi (OS = Raspbian = Debian Wheezy) - Apache2.2.22 (debian) - PHP version = 5.4.4-14+deb7u7 - eReader on iOS7 is Marvin 2.6 But you are clearly using other hard- and software. Do you get that error with all the ePubs? Have you tried other eReaders (if possible)? Used the http:/../../../feed.php for OPDS? Reinstalled COPS version 0.9.0? Checked the config_local.php? filled out the line " $config['cops_full_url'] = 'http://<ip of your server>/cops9derectory/';" in config_local.php? Etc. Good luck! Never mind, fixed by vlad59 ![]() |

Book Bazaar Reader, modern app on Win8/8.1, has problems.
It lists all the authors and number of books, but doesn't list any books. It does have a real icon for the library, though its a bit generic. |

Hi,
I have a WARNING for all Synology Diskstation Users, that want to update to DSM5.0 Beta. Notice that at the moment authorisation with .htaccess is broken because apache on DSM 5 is built without mod_auth. Synology said, they will provide an additional package for that. But they didn't say when. f. |

Hi there ! It have been a long time since my last visit :-)
So I just update my COPS to 0.9.0, seems to work fine on web, Kindle PaperWhite and Moon Reader. So once again : big up to Vlad59 ! I notice one thing. If i delete all unnecessary files in the lang folder (I need only the french file), all title in COPS are incorrectly displayed. Not a big problem, I just have to put all files back. That's all folks, see you ! |

And back again.
I just notice a little issue when I access cops from the kindle Paperwhite's web brower : It's impossible to scroll on page. I can't access more than the top of any page, like the author list. Kindle specific problem ? |

@Grishka
Probably, no problems here with browsers under OSX and on iPad/iPhone. I hope vlad59 reads your post and will fix it for you! |

@all
First sorry to be away from the forums lately, real life is really a pain in the *** and I spend all the free time I can get to update my blog and change my VPS provider. @rickhan I tried Freda and It took me some time to understand that it don't support having a local OPDS feed (on localhost). So it works fine (I still prefer FBReaderJ). If you can contact them again : OPDS does not officially support icon for the feed but several OPDS client use the tag <icon> in the feed. Feedbooks and COPS use it ($config['cops_icon']). While you're at it you can also tell them that the search url could be detected automatically with the feed. You can give them my mail address if they need help with the spec. @Grishka I know about the problem with the Kindle Paperwhite, unfortunately I have no way of testing it myself and so it very hard to fix it. If you're ready to help, I can contact you as soon as I have some time. Last edited by vlad59; 02-02-2014 at 02:58 PM. |

Another quick thingy. I've received a lot of emails asking me to redo the GUI with bootstrap. I took a shot at it and I got this
COPS with Bootstrap It's far from complete but knowing that I'm really bad at web design I'll ask for advice / critics. |

![]() ![]() I could be a nice addition to the existing GUI. I fear the bootstrap-GUI will be a bit "busy" when you try to browse a lot of books. It will work beautifully if your book collection fills up the computer screen. But I'd like to be proven wrong! ![]() |

@mariosipad
It won't replace the current style. The current one has a lot of advantages for ereaders : with the bootstrap theme I can see only 4 books on my Kobo Aura HD before scrolling (I can see 7 with the current theme). @Grishka Thanks for your comment. I'll contact you as soon as I have some time. Last edited by vlad59; 02-05-2014 at 05:26 AM. |
