Update: As mentioned by you, it indeed works when I select "Start in Documents" but does not work when I select "Open last document". In the first case the home button in the top menu takes me to the File Manager menu but not in the second case. Thanks for your tip. Would be nice if this works in both the cases!

Sorry about the delay. I had to roll back to the 8/13 nightly as none of the nightlies after that is working for ePUB documents

KOReader just crashes. Hope the coming nightlies will fix this.

I have also noticed that the naming convention for the nightlies. I presume the kindle nightlies are the only ones which will work on kindle

Good guess.

Those are more likely to work on a Kindle than files with: "IBM360" in their name.

@mmjoshi: Yup, the kobo binaries are built with a hardfloat TC since kobo had the great idea to switch to the hardf ABI in 2.5

.

Depending on the exact TC used to build it, it's known to either not start at all on the kindle, or possibly blow up in fun & interesting ways at runtime

KOReader PDF Settings/option]s are rather limited for me. Am I supposed to be able to set Bbox manually and pinch zoom-in/out on KPW?

Haha on Kindle Koreader crashes in many interresting ways too. Last time it crashed and put Kindle into restart in the background while perfecetly functioning in the foreground...
That is Kindle starting screen was visible while reading was still totally ok. Most time the crash happens while trying to go from portrait mode to landscape and vice versa.

This has happened to me too when I read ePUB and pdf documents.

Monitor the issues (at github), or even create one if there isn't a corresponding one. Or wait for a formal release. I can't promise anything, but we will certainly focus on that at some point. We didn't really made one yet except for the initial one. Also look for people claiming to have perfectly (to some degree) working versions and ask them which version it is :-)

I will keep downloading the nightlies

and also monitor the issues and of course this thread. Hopefully this gets fixed soon not that it is a showstopper!

BTW a related functionality of Go To a page is broken for ePUB books.
