Also, another question: is custom_column_settings not intended for tag-likes? If I try setting covertype to a tag-like (#admin_tags), it clears other entries.
EDIT: I forgot the 'a' Last edited by ownedbycats; 12-09-2022 at 10:29 AM. |

Hello again! As I was going through my library, I noticed that there are a lot of series anthologies that are not marked as complete on AO3, yet each story in the series seems to be done (based on the chapterslashtotal metadata) and there have been no new updates in a long while. Is there a way to modify the personal.ini so that an anthology in which every story has a complete chapterslashtotal is marked as Complete regardless of the series's status on its AO3 page?

Question: it be possible to block cover images (or images in general) from a specific domain? A look at the first chapter here should explain it.

Quick question: Is there a way to have FFF automatically re-sort the book list after download? I have an is_marked() column that sorts updated books to the top, but need to manually re-sort with F5.

If you have FFF's 'Show Marked books when finished' option on, it will search and sort. Otherwise, no.
Personally, I hotkey my favorite View Manager view to space bar. |

I have re-sort list set to F5 and re-apply current view to ctrl+r.

On the dialog to login to a site, I keep accidentally clicking 'cancel' because it's a lot bigger (it takes the same width as the user/pass fields). Is this fixable?
Thanks ![]() |

I suppose it could be changed.
Generally, I assume anyone who uses FFF regularly will use user/pass settings in personal.ini. |

Hi, I have a question about making a custom column for AO3's relationship categories (Gen, F/M, M/M, and so on). What I'd like to do is make a column that displays those options and nothing else if that's possible. I've gotten as far as figuring out that FanFicFare's Genres category holds the relationship category details with other tags. I've attempted to make a custom column with a fixed set of permitted values (only containing the AO3 relationship categories as described above) and connecting FanFicFare's genres option to it, but Calibre keeps giving me a blank column. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'd appreciate any help!

noirverse,
That info is in FFF's AO3 site specific metadata entry ao3categories (except 'Gen', it's never included--not entirely sure why at this point). The FFF standard metadata entry genre does include ao3categories by default, in addition to the site specific freeformtags entry. But assigning genre to a fixed set column fails if there's anything but one single permitted value in the entry. A Calibre fixed set column cannot hold more than one value, and will not pick out a permitted value if FFF attempts to assign a list containing more than one single permitted value. I would suggest a) using a different column type--there are tons of AO3 stories with more than one ao3categories value; and b) using the personal.ini setting custom_columns_settings to assign ao3categories to your new column. |

Hi folks ... after my recent (foolish) update of Mac OSX 13.01 to 13.1, there is a bug that does not allow you to change the "open with" app away from Safari. I can manually open Chrome, but weblocs no longer open with Chrome. I'm trying to add Safari's cache location to the personal ini file, but the plugin responds that neither "Browser_cache_path:~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Safari/Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/" or "Browser_cache_path:~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Safari/Data/Library/Caches/" works.
Any suggerstions? Stephen |
