If you made the anthology using FFF's anthology feature, there is 'Update Anthology Epub' under 'Anthology Options'.
If it's in an anthology you made yourself, and you used EpubMerge, you may be able to 'UnMerge' it and then update it. |

Hello, when i tried to use your plugin last night to download some books off of faniction.net, it gave me a error for i think it was cloudflare issues, i was wondering if there is or will be a work around for such an issue.

I've updated the Why am I having errors downloading from fanfiction.net? / Why am I getting 'Cloudflare' errors downloading from fanfiction.net? FAQ.
I know that I don't write the best documentation, if some one has better wording. |

Everything else that might change cover defaults to off. Note that turning 'Update Calibre Cover (from EPUB)', to 'No' also stops FFF from setting Calibre's cover on new downloads. |

My laptop is crap, so I tend to put it in hibernate when I’m moving it around. This lets me save all my work – otherwise it tends to shut off automatically upon being jostled. The issue is, if FFF is downloading stories, going into Hibernate and leaving it causes the downloader to bug out and never finish. It doesn’t read that a download failed, it just keeps going forever. I can hit stop download, but none of the downloads are saved, even if it’s 15/18 complete. Is there a way to force it to skip a download if it goes into hibernate/sleep/etc? Other than going into the temp/calibre_whatever folder.
Thank you in advance! |

Hmmm. That's an interesting issue.
![]() It doesn't seem to be a problem with Calibre Convert jobs, or with my fake testing download site that doesn't generate network traffic. But I can duplicate in both PI and CLI with real network traffic. I'll have to look a bit closer at the timeouts and failure conditions for network fetching FFF uses. |

New Test Version Posted
2022-04-16 - Apply connect_timeout setting to network requests. In Jan 2021, I re-did FFF's networking code to make it more modular and better allow for the Browser cache and Proxy shenanigans we find ourselves needing. Along the way, I apparently forgot to actually use the connect_timeout setting in the new code. Without a timeout setting, the underlying network code just doesn't timeout. Ever. This test version uses the old default setting of 60.0 seconds. (A setting of 4 retries is hard coded and not configurable.) If you frequently hibernate during downloads, you might experiment with a shorter connect_timeout setting. Depending on a number of factors, you may get reported errors instead of a clean resume, but it shouldn't just hang forever on connections now. I would also set continue_on_chapter_error:true under [defaults] if I were you. |
