Something like that.

I don't think it's worth doing in the first place. Your proposed intent was looking for deleted stories. In my experience, that's a vanishingly small number. But as always, YMMV.

Hi! Unsure if I'm doing anything wrong here, but I cannot find the 'Include ePUB images' under the Basics tab.

Doing the equivalent, aka setting include_images, keep_summary, and make_firstimage_cover, to "true", but it still does not work.... well, I think it doesn't.

The cover of the books upload and work just fine, but whereas the in-story images should be, there is a default image of a heart in its place.
I've downloaded a few only from Quotev, which most stories do have a type of "header" image each story, but it's replaced by this image?

I'm using Version 4.10.0 if it helps.

Not sure what I'm missing, and I apologize if there was a solution, but I could not find it. I feel like I misread a crucial line or something LOL

Images are included by default in FFF plugin.

If you are getting "default image of a heart" there is probably some javascript shenanigans on the site.

I need to see a story URL that has the problem to tell you anything more.

Oh, here is a link to one with a bunch of images, I tested it out again before sending it here too ^^

Here's two URLS, the first one only has an image in the third chapter I believe, but the second one has one almost every chapter. Also found out how to attach the picture of the "heart" I was talking about. Hope it helps!

I've added code to the existing chapter image finding code to not include hr.png, plus code to look for a javascript shielded image that I believe is what you want.

Your 2nd story has images in the last few chapters, but not 'almost every', BTW. Unless I don't see them in browser, either.

Yeah just seeing that now there's few images which is fine. It was indeed fixed now though, thank you for the fix ^^

Hi, I've been using FanFicFare for almost a year now and I haven't had any issues. However today, I keep getting "Directory does not contain a known browser cache type" when I try and update or add a story from ff.net. I've checked personal.ini and my cache directory to make sure that my cache does change when I view stories, and I've erased it three times in the process. I'm not able to locate the problem. Please help. Could this be a result of the new update to Calibre? I updated Calibre before trying it out today.

Question -- is there a way to have the ratings for imported Anthologies only include whatever the "highest" rating is for all the fics in the anthology, rather than having a string like Gen, Teen, Teen, Gen, Teen? So it would only keep "Teen"?

Right now I'm going back and manually editing anthology ratings every once in a while, but I wanted to see if there might be a way to do that automatically upon import. Seems like it might be super complicated/require some lengthy rules in personal.ini, but I wanted to ask anyway.

The value for the rating metadata entry varies wildly depending on site. Some are G/PG/PG-13, etc, or Gen/Teen/etc. I wouldn't be surprised if

I suspect it may be possible to do what you want, but it would require some lateral thinking.

Something like translating each available rating value on each site to a number, letting the system sort them automatically, then applying a rating_LIST replacement to only keep the last one and translate it back to a text value like Teen/etc.

Absolutely!

The AO3 adapter uses an exclude list because they were all included originally and the feature was added to suppress them.

If it makes more sense for royalroad, feel free to have an include list instead of exclude.

I finally started poking in the code and it turns out that the royalroad adapter already implements config option include_author_notes with perfectly good default css formatting. So I'm all good for this story.

In fact, as I did not realize until just now, the default setting is include_author_notes: True so if I had bothered to read the story in Calibre after I added the fix for relative links, I would have noticed that the author's notes were already all good

Not sure if this is where I report this or not, but I'll give it a go.

I've found one story/thread on SV that is not downloading, in fact when I try it says "Story does not exist". I haven't actually read any of the story yet, I just love SI's and CYOA stories, etc. but since it's SV I'm pretty sure I can share the link here...

Other things from SV are downloading fine, and I'm having no problems with any other site, it just seems to be this single story. Obviously, this won't be a rush to fix, but since I know FFF has worked on this story before (I had been downloading it fine until the most recent threadmark), I'm trying to understand what is going wrong.
