Double left clicking it, at the top of the Validation window, will redock it.

3b) It should be, but see #1, #2 is also very quick to do as well.

i thought of a workaround for those who do not with to use regedit. if the issue is cause by sigil already being the default program for epub then

1. assign a different default - say notepad.
2. then uninstall 0.32
3 then install 0.33
4 then make sigil the epub default

step 1 should replace the problem registry key ?

It wouldn't have in my case as I did not assign Sigil as the default program to open ePubs but rather to the right click -> "Open with" list for my ePubs.

that's the same reg. key I think - just another way of setting it.. you go right click - open with - choose sigil, tick box saying always use this.

if you go via control panel you arrive at same dialog.

Hmm, so it's a reg key problem.

I'm a bit miffed how mine ended up like this as I have been using the 64bit versions since Valloric started creating them and initially never had a problem.

I'd manually change the install path to Program Files (the 64bit one) in the wizard during the install process, I'd never set it as the default and always had it working on the "Open With" option. After installing over the top of (I think) 0.1.8 (64bit) with 0.1.9 (64bit) I suddenly lost this ability and had to add Sigil to the "Send To" option to get it to work.

I am having the same troubles as you. Sigil 3.2 was fine, but once I updated to 3.3 it won't become the default programme any more.

I am using Windows 7 X64 as well.

I just love the Sigil programme though. Must make a donation soon.

Trouble with validator: complains about "temporary user" and crashes Sigil.
Data: Windows XP SP3; version 0.33 installed upon 0.32 with installer 'run as' Administrator; Sigil called as User; haven't tried to run it as Administrator yet.

Any clues? Thanks!
