After scanning a few posts of 20+pages, I would appreciate some clarification. If someone would be kind enough to explain to this 'newbie' the book order, I would appreciate it.

I think it's like this, 4 books released so far:

Tyler Locke Series:
1] The Ark
2] The Vault

Stand alone:
The Catalyst
Rogue Wave

And the 3rd book of the Tyler Locke series will be Roswell Conspiracy due out this summer.

Do I have that correct?

Also, what is the best way to support new authors, by buying directly from their website or does it matter? [ie which way puts the most $ in their own pocket

]

Thank you for any help and clarification.

There will definitely be an ebook version of The Roswell Conspiracy in the UK. It's just not available for pre-order yet.

I haven't settled yet on format or pricing for the self-published US version, but it won't cost nearly as much as the hardcover.

The Tyler Locke book order is
1) The Ark (US)/The Noah's Ark Quest (UK)
2) The Vault (US)/The Midas Code (UK)
3) The Roswell Conspiracy (US and UK-July 19)

The standalones are
1) Rogue Wave (US-out now)/The Tsunami Countdown (UK-Dec 6)
2) The Catalyst (US-out now)/TBD title and release date in UK

I'm happy for you to buy the books in any venue that's convenient for you.

I know I have some self interest here but might I suggest $7.99? I think that is a sweet spot price, especially for a best selling authors new book.

Although, I expect that would conflict with the UK price and people would be all up in arms about it costing more in the UK thank in the US. Not a great place to be in I know.

I have 30 pages to finish 'The Ark', and wanted to stop now to buy "The Vault" so I can get straight to it.
To sum up, I think it's brilliant!!! I cannot wait to see what Tyler Locke gets into next. This isn't really the usual type of book I read, but it truly is extremely well done in action, character, pacing and dialogue. I think it may be a long wait for 'The Roswell Conspiracy'!

Wanted to announce that The Roswell Conspiracy is now out in ebook format in the UK. Little, Brown decided to get an early start with the ebook, so it came out the same day it was available in print in Australia. The paperback version in the UK still comes out July 19. This kind of release pattern seems to be the new norm in the UK for Hachette. Unfortunately, US readers will have to wait until later this summer for the ebook release (more news to come on why in a few days).

So I've just about finished 'The Vault', and I'm pleased to say I'm not disappointed at all. Another excellent read!

I think I'll take pilotbob's recommendation and buy 'Rogue Wave' next while I wait for 'The Roswell Conspiracy' in July.

You know, I'd get through my TBR pile a LOT faster if I stopped coming to MBR! :lol
