JRM34857, that's an interesting suggestion about the tip jar. If I have enough demand for my books, I might do that in the future.

I'm happy to say that The Ark is now available for pre-order for both the Amazon Kindle and the Barnes and Noble Nook. Someone will have to tell me if it's available on iPad because I don't have one.

Unfortunately, the Kindle version isn't linked to the hardcover and audio versions yet, but I'm hoping to get that fixed soon. Here's the link:

No problem. Everyone has to determine what their time and money is worth spending on, and I respect that. I'm sure the price will come down at some point, as it does with all books. I know that ebook pricing has been a big issue lately. Unfortunately, as a debut author in a big organization, I don't have any say in things like pricing; it's part of the control I gave up to let S&S focus on getting the books out into stores and to let me focus on writing the best books I can.

It is a great book... I read it while Boyd was a lonely little author with no publisher

Thanks, rcuadro. I didn't add or remove a single chapter, but I did tighten up the book so that it's even faster paced now. We also changed a few names. Sebastian Garrett is now Sebastian Ulric because my editor rightly noted that Garrett and Grant were too similar. And we changed The Holy Hydronastic Church to The Church of the Holy Waters, which I like a lot better.

The book is faster now? That seem hard to believe considering how fast is was to start with
