Chicago tribune is rather complex since it integrates several different pages and layouts so I will not do that recipe. It will take too much of my spare time. Only if somebody considers that recipe really important and is willing to donate some money I may reconsider.
Meanwhile here is the recipe for Chicago Breaking News. |

I have been accessing a text version of Slate on my Kindle from the following site:
http://www.angel.net/~nic/slate.cgi But I don't know how to create a recipe in calibre for downloading, say, all posts on a particular day. Another site I love is Arts and Letters Daily, http://www.aldaily.com/ which usually provides links to a few interesting articles everyday. It will be great if one could download these articles once a day in an ebook form. |

So I've noticed a lot of the recipes here download content automatically based on date on RSS feed. I just want to ask, is it possible to create a recipe that runs when the user calls it, gets input from the user and downloads content based on user input? Thanks in advance!
Addendum: Also, say I have an RSS feed, is it possible to save each entry/article into a different file instead of having one big file containing all of them? Last edited by ilovejedd; 02-13-2009 at 11:18 PM. |

a) It takes too much of my time b) I will probably never use it In such cases people that are interested in having such specific recipe can donate some money and than I'll do it, just to partially cover the spent time. |

What's the syntax for setting html2epub options within a recipe? Say I want to change the title, author and publisher. I'm studying TheSugarQuill recipe and for LRF it seems to be:
Code:
html2lrf_options = [
'--title', title,
'--author', author,
'--publisher', publisher
]

No. For epub file this is the line you should use:
Code:
html2epub_options = 'publisher="' + publisher + '"\ncomments="' + description + '"\ntags="' + category + '"' |
