KOReader does not replace anything on the Kindle, it's just a 3rd party program running on top of the normal Kindle OS. KOReader screen savers are part of KOReader, not any part of the Kindle OS. If KOReader is not running (ie. you are in the regular Kindle UI) then obviously the KOReader screen savers can't be shown.

There are other projects to modify the actual Kindle screen savers but chasing after it via KOReader is a wild goose chase.

Hi, thank you for your answer. I know it’s not replacing anything and it’s an extra program/system. But I also know that some people after jailbreak their kindle can have custom screensavers also with a kindle system. That’s why I’m asking about it and if its possible on mine because watching that few kindle one for 12-13 years it’s quite boring now ��

Nevermind, downloaded the wrong folder & was following the wrong instructions. And I didn't have the kindle I thought I had. Carry on :')

I've updated to python 0.14 on kindle 3g, but nothing appeared different, unable to install KUAL. There's python folder in kindle root folder, not really sure how to access it, my main goal is to use this kindle as a dashboard
