The small one really isn't that bad, and can be quite fast for stylus input. |

Hi Spatulator,
I installed WinCE on the A81 and then "u-Center Mobile" to test GPS. But when I start "u-Center Mobile" nothing happens. So I start wondering: "is there a GPS module aboard"? Can you guide me? TIA |

Well, I finally found a way to solve the MDict problem. Need to add webview.dll, htmlview.dll to the application. Then use TRE file to upload the webview.reg fille.
You can find the .dll here http://www.sosaw.com/forum9/thread-176419-1-1.html but you have to register as a user first |

![]() ![]() ![]() My A81 have problems while trying to link to the wifi. When my A81 came last week, I try to connect through wifi, I found that my A81 can find the location (dorm), but when I press the connect button, it shows "scanning", then shows "ascessing...." but finally shows "failed to associated with dorm". I ask Kathy and WITSTech and they suggest to flash my A81 again with the programs in this website http://bbs.witstech.com.cn/dispbbs.a...did=10&Id=3852 (dev_1.8.16_r3_7310_eng_normal_3.rar) I flash it, but the same results happen. I then go to the Witstech website and search for Dev_1.8.11_Eng_Normal And I flash my A81 again (TF card format as FAT), but this time, I was unable to enable by Wifi. When I go into setting, enable my wifi, save, and exit. Then I go into setting again, they still show wifi: disable I flash my A81 again (this time TF card format as FAT32), but the results are same. So, anyone know what happen to my A81? Please help me. |

I've connected my A81 to perhaps 10 or 12 wifi spots. There's been about two which it won't connect to. Luckily, it connects incredibly fast to my wifi at home (the fastest of any computer or device I've ever tried). It connects so fast that upon boot/startup, by the time it has started (17 seconds) it has already connected. I will help research your problem and if I locate any pertinent info, I'll let you know. |

Thanx for your suggestion.
But the problem now is that, after I flash with the firmware 1.8.11, my Wifi was unable to "enable"....... Do you have the same problem? Or it is just because A81-E cannot run the firmware 1.8.11 and should run the later version of firmware? |

I'm about 99% sure that the A81 and A81-E have different wireless modules in them and the firmware will NOT be compatible between them.
