Does anyone have a link to the Phoungt download files? I tried the old ones and could find a working link. Currently searching for each in the google world.

Disregard, I found most of these through google and other sites on the web. This is a fantastic collection of working software. I am thrilled to use all of these programs on the W1060. I am certainly going to keep the device now. Thanks nonanon and thanks ColdSun for the Software list and the UI.

Hi, im very interested in one of the wirelession products, but the one i like is the w1070 is there any review about it? or maybe some video, i tried to search in youtube but the one in there is for the w1120 and says w1070 but is the w1120, doeas anyone have the w1070?

I love inkwrite! Coreplayer/shincoplayer is a must.

Skyfire doesnt work flawlessy for me. Once im in the program it goes into fullscreen mode and I cant shut the program off without rebooting. In addition theres no way to input text. youtube works but its useless since i cant input text! its a dang tease =(
(if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know!)

I love ColdSun's UI look but switching between screens takes too long. The Silverlight UI looks pretty cool but the taskbar is pretty flawed.
Also Im looking for software like PDF annotator which allows the user to make notes over PDF documents

Is that NDrive software cost anythink? Does it came with maps or you have to by them as an addition?

Does anybody knows any GPS software working with moving map for W1060?
That NDrive looks like show you just a direction, not like real GPS following by driving direction?
Also my W1060 comes with some GPS software but it need to download the maps.
Does anybody know where can I get US maps for it??

I saw on www.wirelession.com that they W1090 comes with android



1. Is this the full English version?

2. Am I able to use all of the available android aps?

3. Can I use a portable keyboard with this machine?

4. Can I plug an external hardrive into it?





Here is what I plan on using it for:

I am a USAF Instructor Pilot I plan to use it as an intruction device. I have Epubs that are updated daily that use .pdf and .doc files. I need to be able to draw on it, I need to be able to surf the internet at the plane to check weather and NOTAMS.



Being able to use bluetooth, 3G usb dongle, GPS would be great!



Is this the device I am looking for? I am also interested in the SmartQ V7, will this do as well?

Basically, because the AF is restrictive on the internet, I would like to be able to use this at work to check hotmail etc. I would also like to be able to sit at the airplane and get updated NOTAMS and weather using a 3G USB or as the W1090 seems to have, a built in 3G. Especially since wireless is hard to come by at most airports I fly into!

After using my A81 for about a month, I've decided it's not exactly what I was looking for (even after getting Android to run on it (kind of)). My reading habits (lots of rapid on/off sessions) are apparently more suited to an e-ink device - I found the battery discharge of the A81 too rapid, in this scenario, for my tastes.

Anyone interested in this still-interesting, still-nearly-new hardware, please look here

Well i jumped in a bought the w1060 from wirelession. Now for the bad news i must have got a bad one the wireless does not work period.I have tried on my secure wireless and on a open one nada.The bluetooth does not work it tells me no hardware when you try and scan for devices. The reset buton does not work and it does not seem to charge (no red light no battery icon in the tray) Anyone help PLEASE thanks

I've got one question about this device. I've just updated mine to the latest English firmware on the Witstech site. This worked fine and I noticed that it now features a "new" and an "old" Internet Explorer. The old one seems to be the sluggish one that all users of this device are familiar with while the new one had far better responsiveness. However, the new IE stopped working after a short while. I eventually re-flashed the bios only to get exactly the same symptoms - the new IE works for a few minutes and then stops working.

Does anybody have a link where I can download and re-install this new version of IE from as it really is much better than the old one, if only it would work?

I did the new F/W update too, and I'll agree the new IE is 10x better than the old one. I haven't had one lick of a problem with it.

The problem I am having is that my whole screen seems to have shifted up and right about 1/4" in each direction. I believe it's related to the A and C screen that was discovered much earlier in this thread, but they're not posting an update for both A and C anymore. I've updated from the Wirelession site and from the Witstech site as well, same problem from both.
