Have not been able to use bluetooth (i would like to use my GPS bluetooth module because internal GPS is pretty much useless) for anything and havent got any Java enviroment for WinCE 6.0 either...

Alright, I went ahead and did it. I'm now waiting for my w1060, hopefully here for the beginning of March or so. I've looked around (mostly in this thread), and the current consensus seems to be that it works fairly well as an all-around, simple device (ereader, music, web as of late), so I'll take my chances with the bluetooth. As for the Java, it seems that there are a couple things floating around the internet I can try. I'll let everyone know how it goes when I get it. Thanks again for all the information everyone, especially Kathy and ColdSun.

I just tried to get both these items, but I assume due to site remodeling they cannot be found. I'm in no great hurry, but if you could either fix that or maybe find an alternate upload site (SkyDrive?, I think its free with unlimited bandwidth for files < 50 MB) I, and I believe many others, would be grateful. Ive installed skyfire v.1.0.0.12113 on my A81 but constantly get "connecting" followed by "Checking flight mode" and getting stuck in a loop. Any ideas?

@shifty: I use an 8g card that I believe is class 2 at best. The only delays come in putting data onto the card, retrieval for playback or reading is very fast. I find the only video problem is with two formats, FLV and WMV. Anything else nearly always plays back but I do sometimes find an older AVI isn't supported.

@hIGGI: They're working (supposedly) on a Linux (Debian) ported onto the English A81. Apparently many things work on the Chinese version that aren't available on the English version. Not a great business practice if you're trying to expand into western markets but at least they're working on it. The new firmware with silverlight is a mixed bag and I'm considering going back to wince as it's a bit easier to use if you're used to Windows.

Thanks. Unfortuntely the download link on page 17 is no longer working. I am still waiting for coreplayer support to get back to me. I am little bit confused as the following link states that core player is not compatible with the a81/w1060

First, thanks for your continued support, but I seem to have an issue with those links you posted. All the links to specific files (Silverlight UI, Firmware updates) seem to send me to a 'file not found' page. I believe that in copying the files you may have inadvertently copied a filename with periods in the middle. If you could take a look at that (or someone else can expose my stupidity) I would appreciate it. Again, thanks for the continued support!
