I think royalroadl.com has changed their address format for stories. I'm getting this error:

'NoneType' object has no attribute 'parent'

For all of their stories and their website now has this format for the web address.

Old format:

https://royalroadl.com/fiction/3056

New Format:

https://royalroadl.com/fiction/3056/title-of-story

Could you take a look?

Hi! Sorry if this has been requested before. I did a search and didn't see anything specific.

Any chance of adding The Wayback Machine (Archive.org)? Ao3 now allows archiving unless authors specifically disable it when publishing and there are a few fics up there I would like to archive.

Example:
Series (http://web.archive.org/web/201302080...g/series/22233)
Individual Story (http://web.archive.org/web/201207180...iew_adult=true)

Now that Sufficient Velocity has separate threadmark categories for story posts, omakes, etc. I can't download the omakes. How do I go about downloading the omakes etc. in addition to the story posts?

Unlikely.

The Wayback Machine takes incomplete snapshots (several stories from the links you gave aren't actually there), and they are of the site as it existed at time (naturally). AO3 has changed since then and FFF has changed with it.

The most recent test version isn't picking up all of the description text from fimfiction.
Specifically it isn't picking up, "This story is a sequel to (link)."

That part is deliberately being removed from the description and instead placed in separate sequel, sequelsUrl and sequelsHTML metadata.

Could you make it an option not to remove it? The calibre metadata doesn't get uploaded to my kindle, but the description does.

Put this in personal.ini first and see if it meets your needs:

[www.fimfiction.net]
## in your existing [www.fimfiction.net] or [fimfiction.net] section add:
add_to_titlepage_entries:,sequelsHTML

You can also add prequelHTML, groupsHTML and other FimF specific metadata.

You can also put them earlier in the order by explicitly setting the entire list instead of just adding to it. The default value is:

titlepage_entries: seriesHTML,category,genre,language,characters,ships,status,datePublished,dateUpdated,dateCreated,rating,warnings,numChapters,numWords,site,description

I'm not the person who asked this, but would that actually be that big of a deal? Assuming the stories are on wayback, would it be possible to use an old version of FFF (or even FFDL for the older stories) to download them? This also applies for FFNet fics, now that wayback is disobeying their robots.txt
