Dear JS:

There is a Go To Page function on the EZ Reader and the EZ Reader Pocket PRO.

I asked and there are no plans to re-do the EZ Reader Basic with the Epson Controller and such. HOWEVER, there are plans for a new 6 inch wireless. That would, I am pretty sure, have all you want in addition to Wi-Fi. I cannot be certian ad there is no release on what we are discussing. I only know about their plans in the general sense on such a model. I think it is a good bet.

Because as you can imagine, to read technical books, which they are mainly in PDF format, it's better to have a A4-format e-Reader, possibly with reflow functionality....
And obviously also with many book formats like ePub and stuffs which I think for example ePub will be diffuse here in Italy....

Dear Luigi:

The NDA prevents me from giving details about non-released models. I will say that there ARE going to be 9.7 inch in EZ Reader, likely right before Cjhristmas or Thanksgiving. The time is a guess and not a certainty. They ARE clearly coming and I thing that is when! They will have ADE for great pdf!

Robert,

I managed to get my device ordered, and I entered a different address for shipping than for billing because I am moving before the device ships. But when I got the confirmation screen, my billing address was listed as my shipping address as well. There was no way to go back and change it. It's the same on my emailed receipt. I called customer service this morning, and they said they had the right address, but they didn't send me a new receipt. I just want to be sure I will get my device, because if it's shipped to my billing address at the end of August I may never get it.

Hello robertb,

OK at least the importance is Astak WILL make a 9.7" dimension reader and when it'll be outm, we'll see which specifications will have...I'll wait with patience...I have no hurry... ;-)

Too bad. I think in this case, it would be good to redo the EZ Reader. It's a shame that all the goodness of the Pro is sitting there behind a 5" screen.

I hope you guys get it to market before all the big boys come out with theirs: Large size screen with touch and full PDF, for considerably less $$$ than iRex, would give you a great opening....

Nobody can get out the Flexi screen until PVI makes it. That is scheduled to run in manufacturing in September.

Dear JS:

I agree. That is why a month ago I emailed to the factory and brought this up. I stressed how having the same features on the 6 inch would give it a whole new life.

They said that it is not as simple as I thought. You cannot just unsolder one controller and put in another. It takes a whole new PCB and that means a whole new GUI and re-engineering and by that time the new 6 inch will be out!

Hope can be eternal but the reality is that there is only one source for the screens and they tend to cater to the bigger orders, I suspect. Hopefully there will be a big enough supply to satisfy all the orders.
