Do you think it would at all be possible to add in a digital pacer that goes along below the lines. Maybe auto starting on the page? Would be cool to have it be adjustable to in terms of page indent and speed of course.

Tim Ferris uses this method here and it can increase reading substantially

Hey,

First of all, thanks for your super piece of software, it's fast and easy to use. I like it a lot!!

I have search in this thread and read that showing the book cover in sleep mode is not yet supported (and I've read the changelogs from your released up to mid 2020 without seeing a note on it).

Do you have any plan to add this feature or not?

Thanks and congrats again!

This feature is present since Plato 0.9.17 and is described in the commented configuration file.

It looks like @thataboy has added this feature in his fork.

Hi I have a question about the zoom mode fit to width. I like Plato a lot, but there's only one feature a miss from KoReader that i can't fint at Plato, may be I don't know how to set it...

So when I'm reading manga, I like to put the zoom mode at Fit to width, because this gives me more zoom and the page is more readable, but what I don't like is that the page is in continious mode which is annoying specially because when changing between pages I lose the focus when I see 2 mid pages at the same time (half on top en half on bottom).

Is there any way to set zoom mode to fit to width and make the page navigation to page, that when I'm going trought next page it only goes to the very bottom of the same page and then next click will go to the next page ?

Sorry if it's been asked, i didn't found any information about that

thanks !

So, I'm not sure if it's something I've done or what, but Plato no longer seems to accept touch input on my Elipsa.
I installed it via the one-click package, and KOReader works fine, but Plato lands on the filesystem menu and refuses to accept any sort of touch input. Power key will put it to sleep without issue.
I'm not sure where to look to troubleshoot this particular issue. Info.log doesn't seem to contain much, it seems the software is aware it's running on an Elipsa.

@NiLuJe: You haven't included /dev/input/by-path/platform-0-0010-event in the automatic input detection routine: is this symlink also present on the newer models?

@Barty What's the output of ls -al /dev/input/by-path on your Libra 2?

I definitely have a /dev/input/by-path/platform-0-0010-event on my Sage & Elipsa, but I can't vouch for the Libra 2 (I'll double-check the Libra 2 report, as it took me a while to notice the different i2c bus there ;p).

EDIT [Original message got the bus wrong]: Oops, it's the other way around:

It's on bus 0 on the Sage/Elipsa, and on bus 1 on the "new" Libra 2.

I definitely hadn't noticed ^^.
