I have an archaic version and would like to try a more recent one, if it works well along Nickel and KSM.

Just FIY, there already seems to exist something like this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/dict-wn. Testing if it works with plato now.

I am trying to make fetcher working by using https://framabag.org/, but failed.

I add hook settings in plato Settings.toml, but the setting file is not loaded or parsed correctly. The hook setting is just copied from the sample (https://github.com/baskerville/plato...r/doc/HOOKS.md).

Much appreciated if detailed configuration and set-ups can be shared.

What makes you think it isn't?

If it isn't, you'll find a warning in info.log, that starts with: Warning: can't load settings:.

If it is, you'll find an Articles entry in the Toggle Hook submenu of the library menu (brought up by tapping the lower left books/matches count label).

In addition to the aforementioned hook, you'll also need to edit Settings-sample.toml in bin/article_fetcher, and rename it to Settings.toml.

Once this is done, you can initiate the first retrieval by tapping the Articles menu entry mentioned above. Subsequent retrievals can be initiated by tapping the Articles category.

yes, there's a warning in the info.log:

If you create custom keyboard layouts, it would be a good idea to end the file name with -user (e.g. hebrew-user.json and not hebrew.json) to avoid conflicts with the layouts that ship with the release archives.

I have a question. I can't seem to trigger the bottom left corner swipe (the backlight toggle) on a Kobo Clara HD. Is it possible I'm doing it wrong?

I've tried swiping into the corner, out from the corner, in the centre of the screen towards the corner, but with no success.

The bottom-left corner swipe sequence is performed by drawing a bottom-left corner with your finger. It has nothing to do with the bottom-left corner region.
