![]() Could I add my own hyphenation dictionary (es-jcn363.standard.bincode) or must I replace es.standard.bincode? Good luck. |

Install on H2O with KFmon
Hi,
Has anyone ever installed Plato on a Kobo H2O first edition ? I have successfully installed Koreader before but Plato just don't launch. Is there any possible conflict beetween the two ? Thanks |

I've Installed KFmon,
- put the file in the plato.0.5.4 archive in a plato directory inside the .add directory, - copy the plato.ini found on Kfom github page in .add/kfmon/config, - the plato.svg in a icons directory on root - copy the content of plato-launcher-fmon-0.4.1 (plato.sh, nikel.sh) in .add/plato/ Have I made something wrong ? Thanks |

Check the paths in the kfmon plato.ini file. In particular, check that the location of the logo png and plato.sh match where they are located on your kobo.

@Arn: The default config expects you to follow instructions *to the letter*: namely, unpacking the archive *as is* and *in its entirety* to the *root* folder.
This would mean plato.png ends up in an icons subfolder ![]() Instead, you manually put the plato.png file directly at the root, which is not where the config expects it: kaboom ![]() As @sherman just said, the easiest solution is simply to adapt the plato config to remove that icons/ folder from the filename key in the plato config (you'll have to restart your device after). It's unlikely to ever need an update, so you should be able to keep it like that pretty much forever ![]() ---- The other solution is to delete the Plato icon/book *from the Kobo UI*, then unpack it in the right place again. You'll also have to reboot after. ---- Sidebar: if you had other stuff being watched by KFMon, this effectively broke that, as KFMon aborts if it cannot find any of the requested files. Plato 0.6.0
I'm releasing 0.6.0 today.
It contains a major feature for non-reflowable formats: the continuous fit-to-width zoom mode. The title label in the reader's top bar is now tappable and brings up a menu with a Zoom Mode sub-menu. You can also enable this zoom mode by performing an horizontal spread gesture. Don't forget to use to margin cropper tool to tightly fit the view frame to the underlying text block. The use case for fit-to-width is when the text block is taller than the screen. This method therefore requires cutting the text block into chunks. By doing so, the probability of cutting lines in half is high. The way the other readers deal with this problem is by introducing a vertical overlap parameter that makes the scroller rewind by a small amount to account for the cropped line. I took a different approach: since the OCR layer is almost always present, we can find the rectangle of the line that contains the cut, find the line preceding it and re-adjust the cut to fall in-between the two lines. I've also introduced screen margins, at the center of the toolbar, to re-add the margins that we loose by tightly fitting the text block. List of other changes:

Just installed plato on my Kobo Aura H2O Edition 2 (Version 2) and launched it via ksm.
It works but the touch input is only correct if the rotation is set to 270 (for both the menu and the reading mode). |

Within the home view (the menu mode in your own terms), could you try to tap one of the four corners of the screen for each of the three other rotation values and report, for each value, on how the touch event is translated: Which icon did you tap? Which icon responded to the tap? |
