Rebuilt my wife's computer, so much real work to do I don't get here as much as before, there are no MR-anon meetings in my area, I still have a bunch of the "I'm Sane" pins, even got one of the "Not Insane / Not Responsible" belt buckles (they also have hair clips with that phrase.) I went looking through the new stimulus bill to see if there was an earmark for e-ink screens or portable electronic book readers and could not find anything. So I guess that the ebook revolution doesn't count as "change" |

But, it's up and running again and I can read this at home now! (as long as the cats aren't destroying everything) | |

Late last year they sent a whole lot of cheques out to most families. McDonalds around Australia subsequently had their biggest week of the entire year. I'm wondering if the immediate economic benefit will be outweighed (pun intended) in future by the health cost detriment implicit in this kind of social thought process? Still, it helped me get a camera. Cheers, Marc |

Did I sign up to this programme? I can't have done. I'm not addicted to MR. I just read it lots. That's all... so I've not been denying this thread exists, it's just I don't need it any more. Honest.
