The technology needs to be faster, but otherwise I love my kindle for schoolwork. I loved the ability to take notes and not be distracted by side margins or post-its. The ability to look at all the highlights and annotations one has made in a book make it alot easier to write papers. I really hope if they do away with the keyboard in the future that they have a touch screen pop up on that shows for annotations because I don't want to have to physically write notes in my ebooks. I also loved the fact that I didn't have to carry a ton of books with me when I went to class. Less back strain = happy.

I think with more support from publishers and a colorscreen for science books the kindle would be a perfect device for students.
