@NiLuJe Thanks for bundling it with NM! I was just wondering if I should install NM. After the recent FM upgrade a couple of days ago, I just did the usual one-click install for koreader and voilà!

I do have a question though, is there a way to make the "start plato" menu disappear? I checked my .adds\nm folder, there are three files: the doc file (which I assume doesn't do anything?), the kfmon file: Spoiler:
 and the koreader file: Spoiler:
It doesn't seem that there should be a plato menu in NM, but there is. Did I miss something?

@greatforum: Everything gets populated automagically by the KFMon generator

.If you want to prevent some of the KFMon entries from showing up, you just need to update the matching KFMon config, and set the hidden flag to 1 (e.g., that one, which should be in .adds/kfmon/config/plato.ini on your device. |

@lalf: The Clara is new enough that even a factory FW should be recent enough for everything to mostly behave okay.

I'd still highly recommend running up to date software, though. But nothing will horribly implode .

Thank you for the easiest way to install KoReader & Plato.

I tried both and love KoReader than Plato. but the biggest problem of KoReader is I can't connect to PC without Kobo Start Menu. How can I connect without restart to the Niken? ![]()

I usually transfer things with SFTP, see https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/SSH for a (hopefully sufficiently clear) guide. |

As @Frenzie said, just exit to Nickel, it'll take something like 10s. Or transfer stuff wirelessly. |

@NiLuJe, first thank you for the work and ingenuity you've put into this labour of love! It is deeply appreciated.

With the latest Kobo firmware update 4.23.15505 (8/10/20), the top left menu is gone. It's replaced by a "More" menu in the bottom right. Unfortunately, KoReader and such do not populate into the new "More" menu. If you're already aware of the issue, my apologies for the duplicate... if not, well, I figured you'd want to know. If I manage to get it going I'll let you know what I did. |

Thank you! I didn't mean to rush anyone and am grateful that this exists at all. I LOVE the ODPS server access. I'll bop on over to that thread and have at it. Thanks again for the pointer in the right direction!
