FYI - the link is for version 0.3. My version from last time is 0.4 already. Could you possibly update the download link as I think there were several improvements in between versions.

Adrian, Welcome back.

Wish list items:
-click on multiple books and copy to collection column (rather than copying entire folder)
-sort kindle column, it's not alphabetical currently,
-indicator on kindle column side to show if book is in the collection column side somewhere; currently I scroll to the end of the collection list on the actual kindle and catch the small handfull that didn't process into a collection
-"Duplicate" titles in the kindle collection folders, these appear to not be duplicates because if deleted, a completely different title deletes

Thanks for everything so far, this program makes working with kindle collections much easier.

Adrian, A great big THANKS to you for for all your hard work. This is an outstanding utility! I'm using 0.4 and it works well with the noted limitations. Looking forward to future releases from you.

One big request... Kindle's pretty bad at sorting things in collections; is there any, any, any way that you will be able to allow us to manually sort in the JSON file? (i.e. I have one collection where the books are ordered as 4 2 3 1 for no apparent reason)

Would be great to be able to plop a set of books in a collection, then drag them up and down to put them in the order I want, and then commit.

Hi reech, a quick fix for ordering book in series order (it's a bit of a hack but works) is to set the published dates in reverse order to the series (book 1 Nov 2010, book 2 Oct 2010, book 3 Sep 2010 etc). This can be done in Calibre fairly quickly in the grid view
Hope this helps in the short term and maybe Amazon will release an update to allow a series order value - ok, the pigs are fed and ready to fly :-)

Hello,

I am afraid the programme isn't working for me. It's running fine software-side and lets me create collections and all but my kindle 3 fails to recognize them, even after multiple reboots. I have the latest firmware on it (3.0.2) - could that be the reason?

I have 3.0.2 and I have not had any problems with the collection manager
You have to make sure to save the changes. I have had one time that it did not work but I did not do a save the changes.

Happiness. Adrian help me get the .Net Framework installed. Now all I have to do now is wait for my actual Kindle 3 device to get delivered. Yes!

Thanks for your help cvkemp but the kindle collection manager says that it saved the changes to the kindle and that I have to restart to see them. I can't find any changes and/or new collections after a restart though.
