Might be a good deal for anyone who has or knows someone with a Makro card. I don't know much about the reader beyond it being a 6" eink reader and it generally sells for quite a bit more.

Seems everybody has already devices for above £$100 or more ...

Couldnt find any review here in the forum - anyone tested it?

After all, it's not one of these cheopo-low- or NoTech Devices, but e-ink, so a kindle competitor..it states:

- 7000 page turns with one charge
- Stores up to 5000 books , articles an documents
- Choice of different text sizes with rotation functions of portrait and landscape reading
- Expandable SD memory slot supports up to 32GB
-Built in 2GB memory

M&S has this reader at £139, so the Makro price seems very good.

Where do you get that it's compatible with DRM, though? This isn't mentioned in the specs I can see.

Also, note there is a version knocking around with far fewer features, and some who purchased the cheap Makro one have said that the specs quoted are incorrect as it only supports TXT and HTML files; see the comments in this thread:

Argos used to sell it, don't know if they still do, so it can't be much good..........
