Someone on the B&N forum just noticed some 400 books had been transferred. A few minutes ago I again tried the link from yesterday's e-mail. This time it worked (yesterday I got the e-mail address error message). |

I just checked the B&N page with the code I've been clicking on all day with no response. Now I just got "This Code has already been Added." So checked my B&N account, and it now says I have over a thousand books, where I had only about 200 before. But I can't really check, since when I went to "My Nook Library" I got covers for the first page, but it just showed html code for any other pages. Now it's hanging. So I think the books mostly are all transferred. I bought very few secure ones. |

Wow. This actually sounds promising. If I end up with (nearly) all my fictionwise books over at nook OK, that would be a pretty good outcome.

Okay, well now that it sounds like the bugs have been (more or less) worked out, I've clicked the click to transfer my books. Now have to wait for my codes, too. |

I've just checked and I still have only the 6 books in my B&N library which transferred initially.

The web site is still having a hard time loading when I go to my account to see the books. But I think I got all but one transferred. What's surprising me is that some of the books that transferred have "Lend Me" buttons. I guess I wasn't expecting that. I had to load Nook for PC twice before it 'saw' the extra books. |

I still have no activity since they initially moved over a few of my books. Hopefully the rest get added by the end of the week. It would be nice to have those easily available in my Nook library.

The link in mine had the email address, so it must have been from another batch. It's entirely possible I got three emails and missed the first one completely.

Has anyone here actually received their code or gotten their library transferred from eReader.com yet? I just called B&N to see if I could get someone to look int the reason why I still don't have my code and got a run around again. The customer service reps (three of them!) took my email address, but they had no explanation for why my code hasn't yet been sent after I opted into the transfer process on 11/19. The last one told me it would be about another week before the email with the code would be sent out. Yet here I see several people who have received their codes for Fictionwise and had much larger libraries transferred already. So I guess I'm trying to figure out if it just a problem with eReader.com customers. Thanks. |

It now says I will receive the code in the coming weeks. That's BS. I should have had the code already.

I clicked the link earlier this week and got the "week of 11/19" response but nothing since then. I stupidly deleted the email. I know, dumbass move! I googled for it and come up with this link: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/fict...79003818&emailname@domain.com I don't know what the number 379003818 means (anyone?) but I changed the email to mine and it seemed to go through. I got the message: Thank you for choosing to transfer your library to NOOK. You will receive an email in the coming weeks with your access code and further instruction." Hopefully I'll get an email soon. -Vito |
