Received a kindle from my family on the occasion of my 80th birthday Sept. 3. Have managed to register the kindle, but have not yet downloaded a book.

At 80, you deserve a Kindle. Don't forget to look at all the free ebooks here at MobileRead that can be downloaded. Think that there are more than 10k...the PRC format is the one for your Kindle.
