Reluctant e-reader
Hi folks, nice to meet you all.
I was a reluctant e-reader. I'd read books on my computer which was awkward. Then, when I got my I-pod touch I thought I'd found the perfect e-book reader. Sure, the glare made it unuseable outdoors but I loved the compact nature.
When I got my first real e-book reader I didn't think I'd use it. Now I would love to have all my books on it. I want to get my textbooks on it. I've already downloaded free books and am about to make my first purchase. I've taken it to class, to the garage and even the hot tub (in a ziploc bag).

Hello and welcome. I got my first Kindle the other day. i resisted getting an ereader because I love paper books even though I published an ebook with an epub. Now I love my Kindle.

Absolutely!! Or in the tub, or in the pool........Just put it in a gallon baggie and be a little careful.

There are also some great aftermarket waterproof cases out there.

There are no limits with ebookreaders.....

Welcome. I know what you mean. I started to get interested in eBooks as a concept because my wife was complaining about all the books we had stacked around. She likes books as much as I do but I have trouble letting them go off into the wider world. I was interested in the Kindle but fell in love with the iPad when it came out. Now i find I actually prefer the eBook to paperbacks and find it as good as a hardback book (but I still love a hardback for any book I really want). I think you will find a lot of useful information here. Enjoy the visit.
