Just order my Kindle 3 (3G+Wifi)

So ok, I finally bought a Kindle. The 1st and 2nd Gen I don't like and I let that pass but this 3rd Gen Kindle made me take a closer look.

What made me take a 2nd look and what I really want is the Pearl e-Ink screen, that's it. I can't wait for other company to make one with the Pearl e-Ink screen. I know there's the new Sony PRS lines with the Pearl e-Ink screen. But I don't want a touch screen where I'll be reading. Also even as they said that it doesn't affect the contrast of the text bec of the touch screen feature, I am wary with it. PRS 600 screen before looks wash out. Also their price is way over than the Kindle and their storage is only 2GB granted the PRS 650 has an external SD card slot, but we're back to price. Though I love the Sony that it can read ePubs and is way more open than Kindle. But I can't wait anymore....

I will have to read thru how I'll be able to transfer some of my ebook purchases from different ebookstores to my new Kindle.

Hopefully it won't be too hard.....

Anyway, yeah. Finally bought one yesterday. And I can't wait for it to be available again. It's out of stock right now.

I bought also the Hot Pink Kindle Lighted Book cover together with my Kindle 3 3G.

I'm so excited.... Yey! This will be my 2nd dedicated ebook reader. My first ebook reader is the Astak EZ Reader Pocket Pro. I'll still be using it. If Astak would have made a Pearl e-Ink screen ebook reader device. I would totally would love to buy it. 'Cause the Pocket Pro is a solid reader.

The screen is fantastic - definitely the best screen for readability so far on the e-ink devices. Just a joy to read on.
