Last night I downloaded a free Adobe Acrobat PDF file of The Message bible. It went smoothly.
This morning though, I realized it didn't have an index and decided to delete it. I did this. Looked at my Nook and The Message file was gone from My Documents under My Library. But...in its place was the file: 01_NumEd_Moses_rev.indd When I clicked on it, it is the first chapter of Genesis. I connected the nook up to my computer, planning on locating this file and deleting it. But it is nowhere to be found. After doing some tracking I restored the The Message file, opened it and looked under properties for this file. Guess what? The name for the file listed under properties matches the 01_ file name I gave above. But I cannot find it to delete it anywhere on my computer. Called Adobe and they suggested just deleting my My Docs file. But I'm not sure this will work. Can anyone help me get rid of this darned file???? Marie |

If that's what they advise ....
Presumably My Docs is just a folder, and can be replaced after deletion. (save a copy on your PC before hand just in case; if the experts have suggested it - you can always shout at them if they are wrong). I am assuming, now, that no-one on the Nook Forum came forth with further ideas. |

Hey everyone -
Geertm was kind enough to give me a "step by step" and I am happy to say the weird file is GONE. Thanks, Marie |
