Book Recommendation Korea

Hey everyone,

I would like to read a book, which was written by a Korean author.
Are there some book recommendations?

I am also curious about stories, which take place in Korea, although the author is not Korean.

Anyway I appreciate your answers

Nora Okja Keller and Chang-Rae Lee have written strong books.

Toward the end of the article, the writer mentions that many of the translations are available via Amazon and Kindle.

Of course, translations can vary a lot in quality. When I read one, I always wonder how much I'm missing. I'm slogging through a Chinese translation now, and I'm hating the translator. I can't believe the dolt would take a well-known Russian quote that's been translated into Chinese and then translate it into mangled English. Ugh.
