Support for prs-650?

My prs-505 died today and I need to replace it. I am leaning towards the prs-650. Since I currently use Calibre, what is the probability that the new Sony line will be compatible out of the box?

When the new ones come out they are likely to have different USB I'd information. If so when someone gets a model and runs the calibre debug option for gathering the answers you can expect a calibre release with a Dony driver supporting that model to appear within a week or so.

Out-of-the-box you should be able to use the calibre Save to Disk command to load books, but that is not as good as having the Sony device driver recognize the new model(s)
