Calibre News Folder Oddity
I have been using Calibre (I'm fairly new to Calibre) to download news to my Libre and putting it on the main memory. When I open the News folder (on the device) and then go back, everything not on the main memory has disappeared. If I go back to the main menu and then back to "ebooks", everything is viewable again. This isn't a huge issue for me but it is annoying. Is anyone else seeing this? I am using version 0.7.16 of Calibre.

What version of the Libre firmware are you using? I don't see this issue with my News folder. Libre firmware 18g.

you probably just pointed at the wrong library location (or you were BAD and renamed the Calibre Library folder)

Run the startup wizard and choose the new (place) name

I have a Calibre icon on my desktop that I drag books to or that I just click to open. I opened it today and it opened and said I had zero books. I then checked the folder in 'my documents' and the folder is still there but it has a tiny metadata bit and nothing else.

Restore your metadata.db file from backup.
