Thanks for the heads up.
I thought B&N sold epubs? When I tried to download it, I got a pdb file. |

From the description of this book, it does indeed sound awful.

Diana - you have to go to your library from the B&N website and download from there, not into the Barnes and Noble desktop app or anything. If you do that you'll get an Epub file.
And if your looking to put it on a different device you can't unlock it with the standard Inept script, you'll have to use the Barnes and Noble specific script. |

When I tried to download it onto my Mac it was a pdb file, but when I tried it on my brother's Windows laptop, I got the Epub file. So, apparently the Epub file is only for Windows users, which sucks for me. I'm glad I found this out before I bought the nook. |

It's just a personal preference, I prefer epubs. In my experience, the pdb files that I do have, never convert correctly.
Plus, comparing the Windows B&N software to the Mac B&N software (which is basically the Ereader app with a B&N logo stuck on it, there isn't even a sync feature with the website library), the Mac support is totally half-assed. I was planning on buying the nook Wi-fi, but the more research I do, the more it looks like B&N has no interest in supporting Mac. |
