I have just ordered a new K3 WIFI. I would like to know if I can use the USB connection to transfer my Kindle for PC ebooks that are already on my PC to my K3 when I get it or do I have to download all of my ebooks to the K3

If your books have DRM, you'll have to go to your Manage Your Kindle page and either "send to" or "transfer via computer" a fresh copy specifically for your K3.
If you've got any non-DRM books (Product Details on the Amazon page say "Simultaneous Device Usage: Unlimited), then you can just copy them over. |

Thanks for the reply. That was what I expected but wanted to make sure.
