Calibre splits the html into chunks smaller than 260k in size so all epub renderers will be able to handle the epub. This error indicates that calibre didn't find what it considered a good place to split the file.
Do the same conversion again, but this time point to a empty directory in the debug area under conversion. After the conversion fails you will have the initial html file in the directory you pointed to in debug. Open this html up in Sigil. Insert a bunch of chapter breaks to split the html, then save as a epub. I then add this epub to calibre and do a epub to epub conversion to ensure the file is formatted the way I like it. |

i was thinking something along the lines of the html but i thought it might be too complicated... but now that you explain it, it seems doable... and i also considered changing the split file size but i wasnt sure by how much and if i should make it more or less...
ill try the solutions out and let you know, thanks a lot |
