The shipping from NY to LA would be around $10, anyway wouldn't it?

The leather slipcover case is sure worth more than $10, it provides a good deal of
protection, while adding very little to the dimensions of the device. The JBL's battery
box still functions as a comfortable handle with the case on. You can flip the cover
over and slide it back on, to keep it with the JBL and still have access to the page turn
buttons.

Ken, I never would have thought to flip the cover over, duh...thanks for the tip! And I'm very glad I got the cover with the JBL from Newegg.

It's odd that J&R's price would increase $20 in a day, but you're right-- the price is now $119.

The JBL at $99.99 in Burgandy.

Glad I got my spare JBL with that 70$ sale.

I plan to sell my JBL.....nothing wrong with it, but I got the Kindle wifi and I like it better. Don't need them both. Just have to get in gear and take pictures of it and stuff.

How much you want for it booklover?

Was reading last night when my JBL just stopped responding.
Noticed it when the page wouldn't turn.

Eventually pulled the battery, hit the reset, powered it back up, but it only loads as far as the first Jetbook logo. Seems to be stuck there. IE no blinking light activity.

So if your price is reasonable I might spare you some effort.

I don't know how this keeps happening to you guys, never happens to me.

It seems that if a reset doesn't fix it, going to the diagnostic screen and
restoring to the factory defaults usually does.

Bill, this all seems familiar! Sorry to hear that it happened to you.

Why not call Ectaco and speak to Jerry? They might send you a new one, either free (like they did me) or for a small price.

Ghost I was thinking in the neighborhood of $75 shipped anywhere in the USA. Does that sound reasonable or too high?

I should mention that if taken out in the sun it does that flicker thing that people have talked about here in the forums. Also, I have never upgraded the firmware from what was on it when I bought it new from Newegg in Feb.
