I came across this video and thought it was pretty amazing. Once you get 1/2 through the video the demo starts getting pretty impressive. This product is coming to Android, iPad, and iPhone.

If you look at the demo the person isn't randomly pecking at the screen. He actually has the QWERTY board layout memorized and is pecking as he is typing on a screen. I also figure they are using the gyro to predict the device orientation.

There are a lot of predictive text keyboards out there, which is why I like the virtual keyboards so much. And they are getting better and better at predicting what one is trying to say. There is one out there today (Swiftkey) that predicts sentences as you start typing.
