Accessories DX - differences between generations

I'm about to abuse my CC and buy a KDXG (International version for the UK)

I would also like to buy a case/cover for protection, but some of the case/covers I've seen say they're only for a specific generation of DX.

I can't find any information on if there are physical differences between the different generations that would for example, prevent a KDXG fitting inside a case for a 1st gen. DX.

So I ask the forum for their advice and knowledge.

Identical size. Only difference is better screen and graphite color (or colour in your case...)

Well when I was growing up there were misguided people who had a problem with the color black...My kid's generation is a lot more tolerant....

I just noticed that he m-edge flexstand for the DX (great product!) is no longer available from Amazon -- wonder if this is due to something with the DXG?
