New Sci-Fi Short From Anne Brooke: Creative Accountancy for Beginners
![]() Anne Brooke is one of those writers who consistently amaze us with her ability to seamlessly move from genre to genre. Just in her time with Untreed Reads we've seen sensual fiction ("How To Eat Fruit"), historical/biblical fiction ("Dancing With Lions"), lesbian/fantasy ("The Girl In the Painting") and surrealism ("The Secret Thoughts of Leaves"). We're happy to bring Anne around to the sci-fi genre with her latest release "Creative Accountancy for Beginners." The Blurb: Field Accountant Richard T’Ssuh has just one task: get his spacecraft docked so that everyone on-board can get paid. Thanks to his Captain taking time to fulfill her 'personal needs', there's no room to park and the crew is about to mutiny. Rich has got a clever solution to the problem. Too bad it just might end his career and, possibly, his life. Equal parts humor and science fiction, we're sure you're going to find this a great addition to your collection. "Creative Accountancy for Beginners" is available in The Untreed Reads Store (GreenPass members save an additional 15%), at Amazon for the Kindle, Smashwords and at most of the 30+ retailers listed on the right side of our website (http://www.untreedreads.com). |

Hello again, Anne. If you're popping by here, it's good to see how you're spreading your wings. Love and luck. Neil

That summary reminds me in a weird way of the lyrics of "Asteroid Named Rest Stop." The filksong doesn't have any accountants, but the same sense of comic despair seems to be there.
This is the point I was making in that other thread regarding impulse buys: it's downloading now. |
