Error when syncing with borders software with 1.4?

I get an error on my Mac when trying to sync borders.com.au library with my reader, it says "Your desktop client needs updating. Syncing cannot be completed.".
I paid money for several books and I cannot sync them with my reader, what tha heck!!

How do I fix this?
What version do I need?
I downloaded it from borders.com.au

Hi Dave,

Your problem should go away when the new Borders software update is available - possibly this coming week some time.

Can you download the books with Adobe Digital Editions?

I received the links (Mac and Win) to the new Borders desktop app last week in an email from Kobo corporate, which eliminated that errormessage for me after upgrading my firmware. I hope your country gets updated soon - I can only hope you will!

Yep, I have that all installed and working.

So can you put put the books on the device using ADE and the problem is solved?
