I am currently studying for a Masters in Publishing in the UK and came across this site while researching for my dissertation.

Dont yet own an ebook reader, besides my laptop, but am very interested in this growing industry.

Good to have your company, Paul. And, certainly, anyone studying for and intending to enter the field of publishing would indeed be dangerously uneducated if s/he didn't learn all there is to know about ebooks and make a point of keeping up to date with industry developments and consumer trends. It would be like coming abord in the thirties or forties with a perfect understanding of moveable type and the cost of binding glues but in total innocence of the paperback explosion.
