Firmware Update Found a strange bug in 2.5.3

Hey just to give you all a heads up, I found a small bug with 2.5.3 that I already reported to amazon about. My email to amazon about it is as follows.

Hello, Just writing in to alert you of a fairly minor but potentially annoying bug with 2.5.3 for Kindle 2 (Global Wireless). Some lines in certain books (example SpellCrash (http://www.amazon.com/spellcrash-kel...ateTag=t0e7-20) get an extended cursor at the beginning of a paragraph in random places. Screenshot included

Book location SpellCrash approx. 1628-41

Its not the highlight but the double height cursor

Worst bug is the not well right alignment, that seems a regression one.

The extended cursor occurs in response to hyphenated words, or dashes in a sentence. Apparently the cursor interprets a block of text as a single word - the rendering software seems to become "confused" by -, --, etc - and be unable to track where word endings occur.

Was this not a problem with 2.5.2?

This was a problem at least as far back as 2.3.3. I noticed it with the book "Software Architecture in Practice", which I bought from the Kindle store.
