Cause I have many books in epub and pdf format and want to know if I can read them in the nook.

And can I read spanish books in the nook? Any problems with specific spanish characters like the ñ?

You can read Epub books with the regular Abode drm on the Nook (you have to use Abobe Digital Editions to authorize your Nook). You use USB to tranfer to books to your Nook.
You can read PDF books on the Nook, but this is not an ideal format for 6 inch readers. It depends on the book how good the book will look on the Nook

There is a problem with special characters with the current firmware version 1.3 But I believe this is only with the meta-data (titles/authors), not with the text of the book.

I have to use Adobe digital editions to read epubs I download from internet with no DRM? Sorry dont understand why this way?

I use to have a kindle 2, and what I did is connect my k2 to my mac via usb, open calibre and transfers my books with no drm to my kindle and start reading them..

Is now the same with the nook?

Thx

I thought you meant epubs with DRM.
If there is no DRM you can of course just tranfer the books to the Nook and start reading.

Since you live in Spain you might want to consider buying a Bebook Neo (www.mybeebook.com). They ship from NL. I got one and am extremely satisfied with it.
Have you checked the option of checking out ebooks from libraries in Spain? They are usually also in pdf or ePub which is both supported by the Neo.
