Greetings from Savannah Georgia and I have a question
My name is Harvey Morgan and I am enjoying my new Kendall 2 reader. I am a retired physician and retired now after 46 very active years of practicing medicine.
For so many years all I had time to read medical journals, so now and not having to do this still, I am really enjoying being able to sample purchase and then read so many great books that I've always wanted to read, and not having to have an entirely separate room of bookshelves to store them. A friend who also has a Kendall reader tells me he believes it is possible to legitimately share my purchased books with a friend. If this is possible, can someone tell me how to go about doing it and directing me to a list of rules governing this procedure?  Harvey Morgan |

Welcome to mobileread ....  Sharing ebooks is a recurring topic here on the board, look in the News and Discussion forums and you'll find the topic in a number of guises. If the books you have bought are DRM'd, then generally they are restricted to your reader....however you can find ways to delete the DRM restriction, if you look far enough. If the books you have bought are not DRM'd, then the terms of the purchase may restrict their tranmission to another person. Read all the ifs and buts in numerous forums and then make up your mind based on your conscience.... Otherwise find and read the free books - plenty of great ones in the mobileread library .... |

Hello there, Chip. There are ways and means of sharing. But, perhaps, you should invest in a Kindle. Have fun with your reader. It's good to have your company. Best wishes. Neil
