E-ink, mp3 player that remembers...
I'm looking for a 6" e-ink mp3 playing device. It is important that it remembers were I left off listening to a audible book so that I can start it from there easily.
Any suggestions? |

Hmm, not sure if my PB 301+ can do that. Let me do a test and I will get back to ya.

Kindle. At least my K1 does, I haven't checked it on the DX.
![]() ETA: 'Course, you did say 6" screen, so a DX is irrelevant. ![]() Last edited by pendragginp; 06-12-2010 at 09:22 PM. |

Well, the PB 301+ does remember where you left off on an MP3. Unfortunately, I could not actually listen to the MP3. The 301+ has a non-standard audio jack...my headphones won't fit. The jack is too small. Crap.

It's not "non standard"; it's a 2.5mm socket. This is also a standard - it's just a different standard to the more commonly-encountered 3.5mm socket. You can buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adaptor from an electronics or audio equipment shop.

2.5mm really is a standard; you find it on a lot of mobile phones.
