PDF Reader - maybe eSlick - UK

Hi, I am looking for a eReader that handles PDF's well and have come across the eSlick from Foxit. Any ideas if there are similar products available in the UK or where to purchase the eSlick within the UK or EU? Thanks Last edited by remlap; 06-14-2010 at 08:49 AM. |

PocketBook has the best PDF handling in 5" and 6" EInk devices. See the "PDF Capabilities" row in the E-book Reader Matrix. That isn't to say that even PocketBook has a "good" PDF capability. EInk is limited for PDFs, because it can't refresh fast enough to pan around the page. |

Forget the eSlick, it's a dud. And to be honest, a 6" eink reader is not going to do for PDF. |

the cool-er does not have anywhere's near the level of odf support that PocketBook offers. Boox 60/ Bebook Neo also have excellent PDF support which includes selection zoom AND PAN that works just fine. The Irex DR800 has selection zoom and pan but the panning is not as good- my opinion- as that found on the Boox/Neo. |

So suggest I go with a Pocketbook 301? Is Green Reader a good company to deal with? Externally it looks no different to the Cool-er |

the hardware is similar as its coming from the same factory- Netronix. I personally feel the PocketBook version is more robust than the Cool-er version and the rubberized finish is easier to hold.
