OLPC to iLiad

The hardware specifications of the OLPC are close to the iLiad: they design for a 366 Mhz processor and a 1200 × 900 Xwindows reflective monochrome mode in the Display. Note "reflective monochrome": the original idea was to use eInk.

Now, the people has already a fine repository of applications:

For instance chech this:

it could work directly in the iLiad.

What I really want off the OLPC is their SD card driver. Their mesh WiFi card looks pretty spiffy too.

Shouldn't that be available right now? As I understang, the OLPC project is built entirely on open source software.

Mesh Wifi is the way to go in the iLiad, I believe. You create an adHoc "iShare" zone, you meet other iLiads in the room, you share documents. Or "iMeeting", and then you can share Xinput and show your windows in the projection screen.
