OLPC to iLiad
The hardware specifications of the OLPC are close to the iLiad: they design for a 366 Mhz processor and a 1200 × 900 Xwindows reflective monochrome mode in the Display. Note "reflective monochrome": the original idea was to use eInk.
Now, the people has already a fine repository of applications: http://dev.laptop.org/git.do? For instance chech this: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/TamTam it could work directly in the iLiad. or this http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Musical_Editor |

What I really want off the OLPC is their SD card driver. Their mesh WiFi card looks pretty spiffy too.
