My Sony Reader PRS-600 will not open two ebooks I purchase for the Sony Library store. I would like to convert them to a PDF or removed the DRM software.

Hello vno & welcome to MR.

If you load the books direct onto the reader (registered with Sony) you should not have problems with opening them.

For the DRM thingy, check out this thread here.

For anything regarding the reader, check out the Sony subforum. Lots of help there.

Have you found the download section yet? All classics out of copyright, lovingly formatted by MR readers.

Another good source for freebies & deals in the subforum with same title.

HI Everyone,
Thanks for the newbie welcome.
In regards to my PRS-600 not opening a recent EPUB purchase, I contacted Sony Reader Store and reported the problem. Sony advised me that publisher format is incorrect for the EPUB.
According to Sony, they have contacted the publisher about this issue.
Now I am waiting for Sony to contact me when they resolved the problem.

One month has pass and still waiting.
